Commander Jesse Young

I am so proud of this!

This is Jesse Young, a D&D fighter, follower of Heironeous, and commander of his own army. He is also the husband of my Zaralyn.

Like I've said in the past, I want to get decent at drawing Jesse. Especially, since I'm working on that project of mine called The Journey. So I decided to look for an actor who was close to what I and Mike (Jesse's player) thought was close. I started with one that I thought would work. Craig Horner, who plays Richard in the Legend of the Seeker. I took a picture of him with my phone and text messaged it to Mike. He approved of Craig, and thus I started sketching this.

It's been sitting around for a while, just scanned. Last night, I took the sketched image and began coloring it with some new earth-tone chalks I got for Christmas. I'll upload that version as well soon. But that of course made me wanting to finish the digital version as well.
